  1. The CSU will monitor monthly energy and utility usage on all campuses and the Chancellor's Office and will prepare a systemwide annual report on energy utilization and greenhouse gas emissions. The Chancellor's Office will maintain a systemwide energy database in which monthly campus data will be compiled to produce systemwide energy reporting. Campuses will provide the Chancellor's Office the necessary energy and utility data, such as electricity and natural gas consumption; water and sewer usage; fuel consumed by fleet vehicles, boats, and ships; waste disposal for the systemwide database in a timely manner.

Please see the attached memo regarding the 2023-24 natural gas and electricity usage data that is due on December 2, 2024. The memo includes information regarding the submission process as the Energy Usage Calculator is now in FUSION. A completed Energy Usage Calculator submission qualifies your district to participate in the energy efficiency incentives as part of the capital outlay program. This reminder is being sent out to allow districts time to gather the information needed to complete the Energy Usage Calculator in FUSION.

If you have any questions or need technical assistance, please contact Druv Bhat at the Chancellor's Office.
